2nd Seminar on the Possibilities of Geothermal Energy and Heat Pumps Application

Seminars on the possibilities of applying renewable energy sources are held once or twice a year, depending on the topics. Organization of seminars dedicated to the topic of renwables They has stared in 2009 and they were held in Zagreb all those years. After a break of three years, their organization continues in a different form, when two seminars were held in 2023: about gothermal energy and heat pumps and about solar energy and in 2024 a conference dedicated to the energy from biomass, biogas and waste was held. The topics of the 2nd seminar dedicated to the possibilities of geothermal energy and heat pumps application are use of the energy from the depths of the Earth for production of power and heat for various purposes (district heating, agriculture, tourism, etc.) as well as design, implementation and use of ground- water and water-water heat pumps. As always, the goal is to present the latest technologies, achievements and implemented projects, and to show in which direction the development of the application of geothermal energy and heat pumps in Croatia and Europe is taking place. Namely, seminars on the possibilities of renewable energy sources application are central place for the gathering and exchange of knowledge, experiences and opinions of all those who in their daily work come into contact with this, but also with the issue of energy in general, such as experts from power and energy companies, designers, consultants, contractors, representatives of investors in projects, manufacturers and dealers of equipment, devices and plants, representatives of relevant state authorities and institutions, members of professional associations, scientists, researchers and students of higher education institutions and institutes and many others.

After the Conference, all participants will be given an access to the Digital Proceedings supplemented with all submitted presentations, papers and videos of presentations and discussions.
