The International Conference on Quantitative Infrared Thermography (QIRT) is a scientific conference that takes place every two years and brings together scientists, researchers and experts dealing with research, application possibilities and technologies related to infrared thermography. The topics of the meeting include quantitative results that include temperature values and other parameters on tested materials and structures that are usually obtained by applying active thermography, for example by applying non-stationary heat transfer processes activated by additional heat sources or by considering wavelength-dependent effects. Passive and active thermographic methods and technologies are used today in many areas of human activity that are interdependent and regularly exchange results and experiences.
